Franz Douskey (Hamden Villager) will share stories from his time at Sun Records and the music scene in Memphis.

Franz Douskey was part of the music scene in Memphis as a young man in
the mid- and late 1950s. In this talk, he will focus on his long
friendship with Sam Phillips, founder of the legendary Sun Studio.
Phillips not only discovered Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison,
and many others, he also brought Black rock'n'roll musicians onto the national scene.
